So here are my plans for my car, including parts already installed. What horsepower will this setup net me?

Don't Have:
b303 cam
gt40 heads
cobra upper and lower intake
Inectors 24#
Mass Air for 24#
BBK CAI (Fenderwell)

Have:
bbk shorties
bbk offroad x pipe
flowmaster 40 tips

Anything else I should be looking into as well that I should definitely get along with any of these mods?

Sorry. i know this kind of thread gets annoying and I can't get an exact number. However, a ballpark estimate will do. Thanks!

I reckon 260rwhp with all the mods listed. Right now you probably have only 210rwhp.

what youve basically listed is a 93 cobra motor wih a "B" cam, and no roller rockers. you could look at having the power of a cobra except, what gains you would have made with the cam are pulled back a little from not having the 1.7 RR

i was curious so i got out the old '96 FMS catalog and found this...5.0 cast iron GT40 svo motor, w B303 camshaft, with the correct matching efi components, 24lb injectors, mass air, cobra induction produces dyno tested 285 hp at the flywheel! you can expect 20% loss thru a manual drivetrain leaving 228 rwhp... less with an auto. now this was NEW components, in optimum conditions at the ford SVO facility.

remember most of the sales info you get from ford when you bought a new fox body and later boasted flywheel hp numbers NOT rwhp... they havent boasted rwhp (unless specifically stated) since the 70's

296HP/320TQ -RW on Dynojet

The Nitrous Works 150shot wet shot

421HP/511TQ -RW on Dynojet

Car Ran 1.8 60Ft 12.70@109 on motor 11.20@121 1.5 60Ft on 150shot.

im not taking anything away from the cast iron GT40's! i love those heads, they work great. as i mentioned above, i think your combo will be close to a 93 cobra.

Yep, and I am doing a build on a budget. Anything else I can add (on this kind of budget) to get to 300rwhp?

to get 300 at the rollers you will need about 360 at the crank. the only thing i can think of the squeze that much from your combo is to boost it.

i know all about being on a budget, i would search ebay for a used vortech kit... you should be able to find one for a little over $1000. i know that isnt very budget friendly, but i dont see another way.

Plus a CAI, MAF, and full headers-back exhaust. The Cobra cam with 1.7 rockers produces the same 0.480" of valve lift as the B cam with 1.6's, but the B cam has more duration.

Your best shot here

Gonna require tweaking your combo slightly, and maybe sending out your lower intake and heads for a little bit of work.

what is the duration on a 93 cobra cam?

and as for cai, exhaust, maf... that stuff should be a given.

killer95stang put up the paper to show his numbers but look at his motor, it may have "P" heads, but it sure aint no budget build... race port job, beehive springs, Titanium retainers, custom cam, rpm intake, tweecer tuner...

BRAVO! to killer, he built a monster motor with cast heads! but he didnt spare much expense.
