OK bros and hoes..

I have just aquired a 89lx hatch, that was a 4 banger car obviously im swapping it over..

anyway the engine harness I have is a 93, I know it wont work already, but could I swap my dash harness out of my 93 into my 89 and make it all work? I dont care If I have to swap the cluster out of the 90+ cars to make it work, I have one already so thats not a prob lol

So will it work or will it sink?

Put everything 93 in it. Engine harness, dash and harness, because the dashes are different. One has fuse panel in different location and the dummy lights in the speedo bezel. Use the 93 column and bag too. Make it all work together.

89 harnesses go for a lot on ebay. I bid 175 on one and got out bid.

You can still use your column, but you may have to rewire a couple things to get the horn and cruise to work due to the clock spring not being there.

I didn't think it was that hard to find an 89 harness. Took me two weeks of looking at online classifieds. Got the harness and an a9p for $110.

are you going to use the 87 dash harness still? it's not going to work unless you get a new dash harness as well

well guys I think im just gonna put my 93 harness in it, I hooked up power to it and none of the interior lights come on, no power to the windows or locks, no dash lights either (illumination), so Im just gonna swap it with something I know that works, and then I can be done with this damn thing..
