another stupid question

can anyone tell me how to remove the plastic cover under the steering column of a 1993 gt 5 speed with airbag .. it has 3 bolts that i can see which i removed and the thing just wont budge .. any help please thanks

If you are talking about the cover down by your knees then you take the bolts out and it pulls out. It is secured with spring tabs so when I took mine off the first time it didn't want to come out. Just make sure you have all the bolts out.

oh really how do they work ? does it go right back in or do you have to replace the tabs ?>

The tabs are reusable. Behind the plastic cover there is a metal plate that is bolted to the dash frame. The tabs/clips snap into that plate.

So like wythors said in the other thread just pull on it. It will come loose.
