Another throttle body question!

94-95 baseline's the TPS at startup. I didn't touch the tps on my car when I installed the TB.
I'm not trying to be difficult, nor argue with you guys, but I don't know how this can be. If I put my foot on the gas pedal, and then start it up, does this mean my TPS is now set at whatever position it was at when I started it? I ask, because with the Tweecer, I datalog TPS. Even LIGHT pressure, maybe even unintentional, can move the sensor a bit. It just seems illogical to set it this way with all the millions of different people that drive these cars. What about those of us with big injectors. Every now and then they flood a little at startup, so we push the pedal to the floor to shut off the injectors when we start it up. Is it now set a WOT?
I guess I'd need to see a document from Ford saying that this is how it's done (which we'll never see) on our cars.
Me, I'm gonna set it at .98, and go with that...
You can call me bull headed, but I know what works for me.

The difference is the Fox peeps always say to get as close to 1.00 as possible.

For our cars .............................

If it is in the .96x to .99x range, its fine, so don't deal with the hassle of adjusting it.

If you wanna hose with it for a close 1.00 setting like the Fox boys do ...... it ain't gonna hurt anything.

Dennis has a good point about it being over 1.00

I will say I've seen a tad over 1.00 from a few dlogs peeps have sent me.

IIRC, mine is around the .96x to .97x range.
