Ok got my motor for the notch, well the block and heads. This is going to be an experiment really of how much compression I can run reliably. Just seeing what you guys will think it will make. It should be somewhere around 13.1-1 compression. Which is fine for a DD on e85.

4v pistons (already have) and good rings
some decent rods (still looking)
assembly will be balanced
Iron romeo block, decked around .015 (I have 2 why not)
ported and milled (.020) and bigger valves (pi)
eddy CARB intake (love these things)
prolly some mhs stage 4.5's (need to talk to nick)

It will be e85 and a carb, just because i hate tuning computers. and I want this car to be clean, and the least wires the better.

so what do ya think It will make? I would be happy with 365rwhp. although It should make more.

No clue, but it sounds like a sweet build. Can't wait to see some pics. Clean 2V's can be really sexy looking especially with the eddy intake and a carb. If you're going for a clean look I'd definitely recommend having it painted up nicely. What color is the car? Here's a couple ideas.

BTW what front cover are you going to run? Do you plan on having a/c and p/s? If not that would certainly clean up the front end of the engine.

the car is red, like rio red, but the engine will most likely be black, with a shaved front timing cover (no tensioner) with cop's. ill get some pics tonight of some of the parts.

If you did a nice gloss black or gloss gunmetal on the engine block, heads, and cam covers with bright silver paint on the edelbrock intake I bet it would look really nice.
