My 2000 Mustang wont start. According to the code it gives me from the "computer," the anti theft has been triggered and not letting the signal get to my injectors so they can send the fuel. I have even reset it and it still wont start. I have an after market sercurity alarm installed but that does not seem to be where the problem is coming from. A Ford dealership/shop that I called, says to wait 20 minutes and it will reset. Been there, done that. Does any one have a clue or a fix for this?

Hello:

I have a 2000 Mustang and I have a similar problem. Two days ago, my Mustang would not start. I thought it was a fuel pump problem; however, I do not know.

Do you have an OBD2? Is that how you received the code?

Also, is your theft light staying on in the car?

Fortunately, the auto theft system is fine. However, my car still will not start. I changed a couple of fuse and my car started up. However, that was a temporary fix. Looks like I will have to take it to the shop tomorrow. I think it is an electric problem. As we had a severe storm with extreme lighting over the pass couple of days.
