I got so @%$%^&# frustrated trying to locate an idler arm bracket (previous post) that I just put the roller bearing kit for my idler arm on my car WITHOUT the grease fitting. It turns great but I am worried about not having that grease fitting on there. I just couldn't get the castle nut on there with the 66 bracket.
All the 67 idler arms I looked at were all ONE piece units. I couldn't get the bracket separate from the arm itself. I did see some 1971-73 arms that looked like they could have the bracket itself removed. They might be the right length, anyone have one they can measure for me ? I would assume I could run the roller bearings I just have to periodically grease it up.
