Anybody ever have stripped threads on your seat frame after installing subs?

I took my car in to get my MM subframe connectors welded in and they were reading the paperwork that came with them. It said there is a high probablility of the seat bolts being cross threaded from the factory and having a problem getting them back in. So now I have to take it back earlier "just in case" there is a problem.

Has that happened to anybody?

2001 Geee T:

I don't have sfc but I have had the nuts off the seat brackets and they were NOT cross-threaded. Shoot a little PB Blaster (penetrating oil --- not just WD-40) on the nut/threads before you put a wrench on anything.

I had sub frame connectors put on my other Mustang and it was fine. Maybe they are just covering their asses by putting that in the instructions...I hope.
