Hey I'm new to the forum and I'm trading my 370 in for a 2011 5.0 within the week and wanna go ahead and have some mods ready when I get it. I have been looking around American muscle and it seems like one of the best deals on the site is the boss 302 power pack adding around 60whp. The kit comes with the boss 302 manifold cold air intake and sct/Nama tune. I was wondering if any one has the kit, and would provide some feedback, looks like a great first mod.

The Boss intake will gain you top end power but sacrifice some bottom end TQ. The only real application is for the track or braggring rights. Stop light to stop light you will probably wont notice it.

You will not notice the low end torque. It actually has more below 3500 than stock. I would highly recommend this mod. We have installed this on a bunch of customers cars and they all can not wipe the smile off their faces!! Let me know if I can help you get one of these!

Why does the black cut off at 6250 rpm?

I would stick with just a Steeda cai and tune. Unless you're looking to add a centrifugal style blower later on the BOSS manifold is not worth it.

+1 I'd love to know why it falls off so dramatically also. Did the engine grenade? LOL!
