Here are what the MPH heads look like. Very nice CNC work as well as where they hand port the heads. Very much worth 1850 US.

That looks really really good. They are very clean. If I had the extra $1850 I'd probably go that route, just kicking myself for buying the Stock 04 PI heads instead. We'll see if anybody around here can do as good a job.

If you really want something different go 3v. Tim made 500 + with only 8 psi.

Are 3v heads a direct bolt on?

What all do you have to do? I'm curious, I know 4v head swaps are quite the large project. (Go Ryan Go!)

They bolt on but you might as well buy a 3v and call it a day. Too many parts to buy.

And Ryan better not be thinking of going 4V. If he knows what is good for him.

Yeah, but that was a 03-04 Cobra block. 05 GT with ****ty internals and 8 psi owns. Imagine running 20 psi throught that.

Not bad but I do believe the 4 valve heads flow better than 300 cfm stock (I can't find the exact flow numbers to confirm this as I dont have the time right this second.)

regardless in a game of numbers the 4 valve heads will always flow better so in my mind the extra time and less expense may be an excelent performance upgrade over anything else available for the 4.6 or 5.4. Not to mention the extreme response to simple bolt ons like nearly 100 hp for cams rockes and springs OR 50 hp by simply changing the rockers.

but thats just my opinion any head will work better than the non pi heads you currently have . ABS I've been told is great BUT I have had some nasty experiences that i wont get into here.

A 3V swap is more involved than a 4V swap as well.

Just to clarify, cause I haven't chimed in since I made the comment about SHM. I just read the magazines, and hear alot about him, as someone stated earlier as well. Sorry for the misinformation, I'd just read an awful lot of magazines that solely use that guy as their modular expert, so my assumption can't be that far off...
