Anybody Running An Aeromotive 16307 Wiring Kit?

So I'm pretty excited because today I ordered a Vortech V3 supercharger. I also ordered an in tank Aeromotive 340lph fuel pump. I've been told the stock wiring harness isn't quite up to the draw that this big pump is going to pull. They sell a wiring kit, which stangTV used in this install.

My question is where to hook up my wires. I noticed one of the wires is 18ft long, so I'm guessing I will have to run it to my ignition switch? I'm very mechanically inclined but am very weak when it comes to electrical things. Any help would be appreciated.

There is a typo in the instructions; it says tiger wire and it should be trigger wire.
"4. Attach a switched 12V+ supply to the 10ft., 16ga Red Tiger wire."
That wire goes to the pink/black wire on the fuel pump relay or the fuel pump power wire by the tank.

Okay, so the wire that's already back there should be okay for the trigger wire. It's only 10ft long, will it reach back there if I mount the breaker and relay in the engine compartment? I'm curious as to why they mounted both in the hatch in the article, when the instructions say to keep them close to battery. Maybe they had a relocation kit.
