anybody running kooks?

Just wondering if any of you guys are using kooks headers and if you like them, if you think htey are worth it. I'm in a pinch and I should've been driving my baby by now, but my bassani lt's didn't fit, so the shop that sold em to me will trade in down for a set of kooks. I'm worried because of the price, it's one hell of an investment. I was thinking of going cheapo and getting some bbk lt's, they make good power, and good price, and are very expendible compared to teh kooks.

please help me out, post opinions on kooks LT's
good for teh daily driver?

I have Kook's going on my car... I mocked them up with the engine on the stand and man can I say they are impressive. I have used the BBK's and the Mac LT's in the past and I have to say that I will stay with Kooks from this point on.

Don't personally use them, but looking in to a set for the 460. Most of the BB guys speak well of them.

My BBK's look like garbage next to my jet hotted KOOKS. What exactly does your motor consist of?

are kooks liek too big or something? y is everyone asking what kinda of motor he has? if im thinking right they are the 1 7/8s?? i know a recent test in 5.0 magazine tested all of BBKs headers. and at the end they didnt wanna bash BBK but they threw in that the kooks made like 8+ HP over the BBKs...but they labelled the kooks as "dyno headers"

Well the only reason i asked is because if the motor is basically stock, i wouldnt see the point in putting down money on a set. But if hes packing something...... i could see the point and it would be money well spent.

ok so here's what I got motorwise

holley systemax, mildly ported
roller rockers
comp cams xe274hr (274/282, .555/.565)
port matched edelbrock RPM II
bbk 70mm
bosch 24#

plan on 1-3/4 kooks
or 1-5/8 bbk

naturally aspirated, redline 7000rpm
