I just got accepted to go back onto Active duty in the Air Force as a Recruiter. I leave Mon/Tue for 7 weeks school in San Antonio TX then head out to our duty station in Rock Springs Wyoming. The Family will be joined me once I complete school and get situated at our new duty station. Just thought I would see if any one has been to the area.

No dude, drove through there once, but only stopped for gas. I did look up the population once, bout half a million for the whole state, picked a random county in WI to comapare it to, Waukashaw county has about 360some thoulsand. You might drive around all day and not see a soul. You might see some wild Mustangs of the four legged varity whilst you are there.

Yellowstone
Gran targe(sp?)
cody is cool, kevin cosner (sp?) has a casino there with alot of movie mem. max bet is like .25 though.
Jackson Hole (best in winter for snowboarding/sking)

If you like the outdoors you will love it. If you dont like alot of people you will love it.

Yeah get ready for culture shock.
There's not much scenary in the area unless you like sagebrush, but the good news is it's only ~3 hours to Jackson Hole, the Snake River, and Yellowstone, and most of that drive is fast and straight. Perfect place to unleash a Mustang.
Also, SLC is a few hours to the West. Might be the closest big city <shrug>

I would think SLC or Denver (been awhile since I looked/drove that) but your also not too far from steamboat CO, great winter fun there too.

I'm actually enrolled at Wyotech starting Janurary which is in Laramie. I know there isn't much up there but I'm going for the education, not the scenary. Plus, like it was stated, not a lot out there so its a great place to drive the **** out of the stang.
