Anyone ever add a scoop or vents to a 94-98 hood?

I was thinking of doing something to have a different look...........I was looking at the jegs book at the scoops................there are a few I like but not sure it wouldn't come off as trashy...............
might have to get a photo shop

i think ernie did it, slow5.0

I think so. It was a red car.

Stick on hood scoops are generall crap, unless the part that sticks to the hood is rolled UNDER the scoop as opposed to on the outside like all the Chevy truck you see running around with them. you could also just bondo them to the hood to get rid of any lines.

The body work inst a concern at all. I know what you mean about the edges rolled under. I defiently am not talking about ****ty ass lund scoops.

I've thought about the 05+ Roush scoop, but again, would have to see it. I could do a rendering in photoshop but that really does nothing when you're trying to see a real world example.

Anything you guys can post would be great.

a friend of mine did this awhile back he got a harwood cowl like the bolt on so he bolted it up to the stock hood look terrible and he got a diff. hood i dont think non functional scoops are worth it like all those weirdos with those lund tape on scoops i think they are lame

Those are the only 2 I snapped before I put it away. I'll try to take some of under the hood, there is a big hole in it so I guess its a functional scoop. Ernie said that his intake temps were a few degrees cooler at I believe 40+

Some I took more time on than others, being they are autocross rims I didnt really care, just wanted them to look good for the video we make each year, although the 03 Cobras looked much better
