Anyone ever installed air horns on their fox?

Haha train horns are illegal.

WHat i did was buy a truck air horn on Ebay for $5 and purchased fittings at local hardware store to convert the air input over to a air tool style nozzle. Then i found a cheak 5 gallon air tank. A little bit of line and there is your air horn. You only have enough air for 2 or 3 good blasts...more if you use short toots before you'll have to refill.

As for actuating it? You'll need to locate a 12V air solenoid on ebay or somewhere else. They cost a little money. WIre it to the wires on the factory horn (unplug the factory horn) and install it on the air horn and you are good to go.

I have a setup (minus 12V solenoid) all built. Just waiting on a solenoid and then putting it in my Fox. I am going to use a toggle to switch between factory horn and the air horn though. It doesn't weight all that much. The horn is about 1 pound and small and compact, the tank is maybe 10 pounds or so. I am using quick disconnect fittings so i can remove the tank when not in use or to refill.

Works nice with some lady in an SUV on a cell phone starts coming over into your lane.
