Anyone ever order some of the black interior panels from Late Model resto??

I've heard some stories about some of the reproduction stuff fitting like crap or not comparing to OEM at all.

I want to order their armrest kit which has a new black top pad and the inner trim latch. I just want to know how the pad compares to OEM? Does it fit well?

What about some of the other misc black parts they have? I want to buy a new set of door and rear speaker grills in black as well as a few of the armrest plugs.

DO they look like OEM?

Also, how does their head liner kit fit?

The center console arm rest pad is good, I like mine. Fit pretty solid.

The door panel arm rest pads....well, those suck. Check your local dealers, I was lucky enough to find a place that had the old vert TSB kit, which was two new pads and hardware, white. SEM vinyl dye fixed that, perfect fit. I threw my 50resto ones away.

The speaker grills are plastic welded from the factory, so I would leave your originals if they are in good shape.

That's just it. They aren't

The previous owner of my interior did this to the door speaker grills. I can't remove that cover because they cut out the slits. They also screwed them in.

I want to fix it. I managed to find one MINT pass side speaker grill in a boneyard, but i need the driver's side still.

I know the mag pockets sag too. Thinking about either cutting them off and putting carpet, or just putting a strip of velcro across the top and securing them as they should sit nice and tight

I also want new door sill plates. Anyone bought the black ones? How do they compare?

Just trying to replace a few things like carpet, headliner and misc panels that aren't up to my standard. Searching ebay and prepared to pay $$$

The headliner that I received from them fit pretty well. No issues at all. I am still waiting on manual armrest pads from them now for about 4 months. I just keep forgeting to check with them. Kinda sucks though.

map pockets are easy to get rid of. Pull the panel off the door and the smaller panel the map pocket is attached to has a bunch of brads that hold it down. Bend them up and pull the map panel off. Use needle nose pliers to pull the old staples out, remove the pocket part. Using short staples and a staple gun reattach the small panel covering. Put small panel on big panel and bend the brads back down. rehang panel on door.

I got my door arm rest pads about 4 months ago, they fit great, were easy to install, and still look like the day I got them, definitely a good investment.
