i find myself getting tired of my exhaust note. i think i've narrowed it down to the raspiness of the tone. so i'm left thinking, is this the bassani x pipe or the borla mufflers? i just want more grunt and less rasp...if i were to get something different, would it be as simple as bolting up some new muffs or not? could i run different mufflers with the borla tips? i don't know jack about it...

if it's a question of the x pipe than i'll sell mine and get another midpipe of some sort. no biggie... anyone have raspiness with borlas and some sort of other midpipe set up?

I have the stock H-pipe with the SLP loudmouth II catback and I love it. The system is slightly louder then the Borla cat-back that came on the car. It has a nice deep rumble under acceleration. There isn't any raspiness at all. The whole cat-back is stainless with polished mufflers and tips.

try a dr gas xpipe. im personally looking to switch out the mufflers because theyre not loud enough and im running lontubes and a short dr gas. it crossed my mind to put in stingers but i dont want it to sound bad. ive heard loudmouth with hi flow cats that had a nice sound, but after all the $$ i dished out cats are out of the question now. ive gone through about 5 whole different setups

Well I though maybe I should have stayed with my Borla Catback, BUT I went with BBK Long tubes, and Off Road X and a Bassani Catback w/ 3 in tips. It is nice and sounds bad ass, but ive found that I have to get some extenders because the tips are sunk to far in by the bumper and u get exhaust burns...YUCKY. Although I am thinkin about switchin over to Bassani Mid and Bassani X, what do you all think??? Check out my vid on my post for a sound clip....well kinda!!!!! Jake
