I'm thinking about aftermarket gauges. Right now I think the r-model is my first choice. Does anyone have pics from an angle. I am worried about the fit against the dash. The only pics I found were too far away to see any detail.

Thanks

I will try to locate a good pic of mine. This is a tough project to get a good fit using the R-model style panel.

EL,

The R model gauge panel is basically flat sheet metal with a mounting tab. It is meant to be a weight saving functional piece, but not necessarly a finished piece.

Here's a link to a picture on Tony Branda's site - http://www.cobranda.com/GetItemDetail.asp?ItemID=1254&CatID=368&DeptID=1

I did see where Delta Bay Mustang is advertising some new plastic gauge panels - http://www.deltabaymustang.com/absinstpnl.htm - It will be interesting to see the finished quality and price on these, they could be a good cheap alternative to JME and Haneline.

Thanks guys. My step-dad got the hanline setup and I was not impressed. Maybe it will be more rigid after install???? I think I'm gonna go with the r-model untill I can rework the stock panel to look something like the JME.
