Anyone have original paint and the lx hatch emblem in the original location?

As part of me putting my car back to stock exterior, I might toss the lx emblem back on the hatch. I am looking to see where it goes exactly.

Anyone have a picture and measurements from reference points?

I thought I had one, but I couldn't find it. I have a couple hours worth of work to finish, but then if no one has them posted I'll throw a pic and the specs up for yah.

Forgot to add...I have a hatch. So coupe reference points might be a little different

Don't need exact...just want to get it in thenballpark of original

-Bottom of hatch wing 1 1/4" (top of L)
-Bottom of hatch to Lx 5/8"
-Now this is more of an eyeball. Looking down from the "flat part of the driverside of the hatch" to the L is 2 1/2"

Can you (or anyone) measure distance from edge of X to the center of the hatch lock? Need a good reference to where to position it horizontally.

I think I have vertical placement down.

i dont think they are all in the same spot.... heres an all original car, and its just over the line in the taillights

that one's been moved.. should be close to opposite of the ford emblem...

Yeah, that doesn't look right to me either.

Sorry mike...I would measure for you but my blue LX is long gone and I knew for sure that was an original/untouched hatch. But I can't say for sure with my current black LX. I did measure it today it was 24" but I don't want to give you false info. Can anyone else confirm 24"? Thanks!

Thanks guys, I know i can just eyeball it with pics, but i kinda want to get it perfect.

I wonder how ford did the LX and 5.0 emblems as there are no alignment pins at all?
