Same here, except I'm lucky enough to have a decent job and managed to save for a long time to buy my stang.

I am soph in college too. The only reason I can afford to buy parts is because I still live with my parents.

Yeah my job at the UPS store suxs, but they work with my school, I still live my parents, I saved since I was 14 to get my mustang. I drove a 89 Chevy truck, the door was duct taped closed and had alot of dings. but now I ride clean

Senior in High School here. Got a job, but still don't have enough to do anything with the stang. Was thinking about trying to paint my car this summer in my uncles garage, but all the paint, tools, and supplies add up to like a $1000 anyway. Thinking about a 5-speed swap right now and if I can find a working V8 T5 for like $250-$300, I'll do it.

I guess I'm doing fairly decent for what I've done to my car so far... I've had it for about a year and a half so far, paid for it by myself, pay insurance, gas, repaits, matinence, and a cell phone bill and still somehow managed to get all the mods I have I'm not complaining but I sometimes wonder how I got the money for them working at my job.

damn your good My poor car got neglected with my last gf. Most of the girls around here my age dont know what the hell they want (beach town full of blondes if ya know what I mean) so I just be their friends and hang out. They all love my car and the way it sounds so they're always asking for a ride

I only work in the summer, i make 12$ and hour at a wharehouse and here in iowa that is alot especially when you live with your parents when your not at school. Damn my GF also, she loves those dinner and a movie nights but atleast she is friends with my buddies GF and we get to cruise together on those nights, he has a 95 cobra.

You better teach that chick equal rights real quick or your doomed. She can pay too ya know. My girl dont have a problem paying and/or offering or even demanding to pay. Lately, she's been doing the majority of the paying and no, not in high school, but i was about 6 years ago..
