The guy who sells the second model will do $139.99 for 20 that is all OBD II capable import and domestic.
I am very eager to buy one of these. I talked to the guy on the second auction and said he would do a gb for 10-$90 20,-$85 shipped (Waiting to post till i get some info from users, not just the seller, I wouldn't be making any money on this- all transactions directly to him thru ebay just getting in on gb price.)
I have a few questions for people who have used these.---We have a scope at work -Fluke 98, Mastertech, Tech2, ETC. I asked another guy about these there and he said they where okay. He said this is the reason they went to obd II and also to reduce prices for the "consumer" to own diagnostic equipment. He also said these should work as well as a $6000.00 mastertech. That all prices will come down drastically by 07 when they have to all use the same software. I'm not sure I buy this.I have always found you get what you pay for..... I have 3 Main questions.
1.) How are the scopes on these? I.E. reading time measurement....For example if I want to read an 02 sensor and the test/fail says the lean/rich scope says it should change from .3 to .6 volts in say 200 Milliseconds.- Do these scopes really have CONSTANT live feed from the sensor thru the pcm? Or do they do something more along the lines of take a measurement of the 02 every 100 milliseconds or so and draw a "constant" line between readings? ---This is a steal if it has a constant real time scope that doesn't just give "snapshots" every .1 of a second and draw a line looking like live feed.
2.)It has a so called "dyno"--are these b.s. or what??? Can anyone claim to their accuracy as compared to a REAL dyno??
3.)the virtual E.T. Slips. (60 foot, 1000 foot, etc) How does this work??? I am assumming that it reads the mileage and speed thru the pcm analyzes this data and converts it into 1/4 times etc using the laptop clock.---Does the pcm odometer gauge go by .10 miles or .001 miles??? I mean the scanner would know where you where when you hit .2 miles but how does it know .25 miles? Does it calculate the difference or does the pcm odometer show in .001???
If this thread is confusing and I appologize, I will try to clean it up if its hard to read.

My main interest is the DTC and scope capabilities, the others are just a huge added bonus.
Think of how much time at work this will save me :-)....Hell I could check my maf and ECT with a laptop in the heat of my car for basically free.

Bump.....I have also heard there is a delay in info from the laptop to the OBD II system becuase it goes thru the serial port...These are newer and look like they connect to a USB port. All thoughts welcome
