Hello, like the title says, does anyone knows how to remove the original 6250RPM cutoff in an A9L computer without the use of a chip?

I'd like to open the computer and modify it if possible, cause I have a 347 stroker and I'm going to burn a custom chip next summer, but now I want to rev it to 6500RPM but I cannot do that with the stock computer.

Thanks
Jeff

As you noted, you'll need a chip or interface. If the combo will need a chip, why rev it through the ceiling before then?

Good luck.

Maybe your tach is way off.

its the stock tach, from the sound of it she was getting up there. the A9L has a 7000 rpm limiter I believe?

6250, as mentioned before, is correct.
