Anyone played with battery placement in a hatch?

I was looking at the battery box placement in the fox today. The simple choice, due to my sealed battery box, is to mount it on the passenger side. The driver's side is too narrow for the box, but might make for added gain during launch. Anyone play with this? I know, its 30lbs, but it may reduce roll rotation a bit.
