anyone run a downs upper???

i know matt1lez28 does, but his a fox t/b. i was wondering if i could put a 94/95 elbow on it and run stock inlet stuff.

also you guys think $250 for downs upper and gt40 lower is a good deal?

Honestly, with your current combo it wouldn't have been my choice as its more suited to higher rpm setups and/or lighter cars. Let us know how you like it, but if I had to guess you are going to miss your low end torque with this intake. I wouldn't sell your cobra if you plan to until you get this on and have some seat time with it.

i'm puttin a s-trim on it, and yeah i won't let the cobra go to far.

when i bought my 87 it had a comp bread box on it that was cracked all to hell, so i replaced it with a stock upper. to be honest i felt no difference.
