In my opinion after owning or working on many of the intakes is the GT40 upper is pretty nice, especially after you remove the humps in the TB tube for the longer bolts. PITA cutting the bolt bosses free and then heating it with a propane torch and massaging the humps out, but I felt a difference on the '93. The GT-40 lower is sludged up with tiny ports and needs a lot of help, including welding up #1 and #5 runners to massage in smoother straighter ports to those cylinders. Also measure the upper individual tube diameter, convert it to area, then port the lower to match that area dimension (-5sp). Made a huge difference and took forever. Turned out to be about 1/8" tighter than the AFR 185 intake ports all the way around.
