QDRHRSE,
don't worry, no harm i just installed new upper and lower control arms last week, but i couldn't get the damn upper rear bushings out. i already have some poly's sitting on my workbench. i guess i'll have to either drill them out or heat them up pretty good. lower rears are poly. both the fronts are the hiem joints. i'm hoping it makes a difference because i'm in the middle of installing my 4.30's

88stangmangt,
i have never tried icing the intake, but alot of times i do let it cool down pretty good. i rarely hot lap it because it does nothing for you anyway, unless you're just working on the tree or 60's. i do have some lightweight seats installed. i don't think i'll bother taking the back seat out, my daughter likes to go for a spin in the car too. i have taken out the spare tire, jack, padding in hatch, and scraped the black tar crap from the hatch to under the back seat.

25thmustang,
i sure hope the weather's nice on the 27th. nice and cool as long as they prep the track i'll be happy. wish me luck.

mike,
don't worry mike, your combo is definatly not maxed out. get a new clutch yet? i think you've got alot in it yet. all in due time right?

4.30s are going to wake that car up a ton, and with the rear nicely set up dont be afaraid to launch that car extremely hard. Drop the 60', poer shift the car and I see a 12.9 at 103+.

i know that the control arms that i just put on are going to make a big difference with my 60'. my usual is a 1.85. i also plan on putting my 4.30 gears in very soon. that should also help me get off the line. if i got my 60's to 1.70-1.75, how much do you think my overall ET will drop? actually, i would like my 60's to get into the high 1.6's. we'll see. cecil opens at the end of this month. i usually run quicker there than anywhere else. maybe i should break down and buy a mass air meter and throttle body.

As far as the FP goes my car with stock heads & cam with just an intake & exhuast ran best with 54PSI of fuel pressure so I don't doubt you when you say yours likes 50psi.

Probably has to due with worn injectors, makes sense....

Yeah you can... I did mine that way... I just taped off the whole piston & let the cutter cut throught the tape... that way no shavings in the cylinders. Just gotta be careful & cleanly
