aod 4:10's or 3:73's

4.10 if its a weekend car. But if its a DD 3.73 or 3.55

I used to DD an AOD with 4.10s and no OD that wasn't alot of fun but a good AOD and 4.10s is a lot of fun. Your mods are pretty close to mine except for the converter.

I just want to know what id be at for rpm wise with od and at 45mph with 4:10's cuz 45 is about as fast as i drive.I dont go on the freeway ever.

Been here done it Had the motor in my Sig. In a 90 mark 7....3:73 gears felt perfect....then again i never felt 4:10's but i was very happy with the highway RPMs, about 2200RPM....Made for an easy Cruising car. If you already have 4:10's i would stay there. I've also had those gears on a 302 Mark with Trickflow heads, Intake and lunati cam...

If you aren't going over 45 much, just around town driving, then I would definitely get the 4.10s. I haven't driven my AOD car in quite a while but I drove it regularly around town with no OD at 45-50 and had no issues with the rpms. I can remember that at 70 mph with no OD it turns around 4200 rpm IIRC. That was probably the longest 1 hour drive I have ever taken.
