ok here`s the story. at a red light with a co-worker/fellow mustang owner next to me(in girlfriends car) next to him pulls up his friend with a camaro all revving up and stuff. so i go to power brake it and instead i break it!!!
here`s what i have. 90 lx with a aod, transgo shift kit, 2400 stall converter, 373 gears, no motor work. so i figure i snapped the input shaft no big deal. no gears at all, motor just revs. not even reverse.
get the transmission out and guess what? i already have a one piece input shaft. i dont remember doing it but must have done my homework when i put the conveter in. anyway, now i dont know what the issue could be? what can i do to try to figure this out? if major inside should i rebuild or by a prebuilt one? money is an issue of course as with everyone i imagine.
