AOD to T5 basic questions

well after exhaust,rear end seals etc,gears... i think a t5 swap is needed...i really dont know if this aod is gonna keep me happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
plus i can sell my good aod plus torque converter to get me 75% of what i need to do a used parts t5 swap....
ive got the basics down, its just the nit picky parts im not certain about....
1) do i have to get a new venter console or is it just the pieces that go where the black part is?
2) is a computer swap truly necessary?if so what is the best for an expected maf swap also??

You just need the black shifter trim, a boot and the gold inner shift boot

You can use the AOD computer for now, but if you go with a MAF swap look for an A9L but don't install until after you have done the swap
