I recently replaced my 15in stock rims with 16in ones but anyway i dont know if that has an effect on braking but this started to happen when im driving at 40mph and above the steering wheel shakes back and forth..is that a sign of what? and oh yea i just remembered i can hear a squeeking noise when im driving at slower speeds and its annoying as hell..whats that from? thanks :D

if this happens while just driving (not braking), i would bet you need to balance the wheels/tires. if it happens while braking, then check the above or rotors. for rotors, you can check the runout. often excessive run out causes "pulsing" in the brake pedal. shaking in the wheel is normally the former item above.
good luck.

jack up each side and spin the wheels - you should hear your squeak.

often, brake dust can build up and cause squeaking. also the pads can chatter (vibrate) while moving. i bet Matt has some ideas. :D
