For simplicity sake, would I be OK with just the Ford C springs? I heard that the camber is adjustable in the '03 GT so should this be all I need? Thanks!
Yes, the stock camber has enough adjustment to make up for the drop from a C spring. Plus, with that small of a drop you can save some money and NOT buy new shocks and struts! I just tend to lean towards these because they're designed by the same people that designed the car!!!
I used this calculator every step of the way during my decision process. The problem I didn't take into account is the additional empty space in the wheel well. I don't mind the tires, just they way they look on the tire. Lowering springs seem to be the best idea - how much firmer will it ride, if any?
if you decide to lower your stang, a concern would be your front tires rubbing. im going to add 275s up front soon, and the guys at discout tire direct said it was ok as long as i didnt drop the ride height. as it is, they might have to bang out the wheel well (sp?) on my stang

It would be great to get confirmation that the 275/35's wouldn't rub up front. The C springs profess a 1.2" drop up front and a 1" drop in the rear. I read some posts where GT owners confirmed that they had 275's and were lowered without rubbing problems. Of course I can't find those posts now...
Don't seat it. You bought the right tires. You just need to lower it. The lower profile tires compaired with the large wheel gaps are what makes it look "bad." It is basically an optical illusion. Lower it about an inch or so and it will look like a new car, and you will be very happy.
C springs are fine. The only problem is that they really need to be cut in the rear. The usually need about 1 coil off to make the car sit even. If not it will have the raked look, which is really not that bid of a deal and I kind of like it. Get them from GEF.
I made a decision and went with the Ford Performance B springs. I wanted to keep a more 'stock' feel since it is a daily driver and not a drag racer.. unless I'm tempted of course ...or is it the other way around
That should lower it 1.25" front and 1" rear and I can cut them if needed. I don't mind a .25" rake effect, since the tires are nearly identical in height.
