I've noticed that as power increases so does the squirrliness, if that's a word, of the rear end on WOT shifts. Is there something that needs to be improved to reduce the amount of fish tailing that occurs. I have replaced the rear upper control arms and I do have a M5400-A suspension system. Haven't done a full throttle shift on my recent rebuild until today and although I felt that I had good control it was none the less a little un-nerving. Stickier tires??

Some "real" tires are a must. I started using Nittos as a daily driver tire back when I had boltons and haven't looked back since. If you don't drive a lot and it's a good weather car, the Mickey Thompsons are even better.

good sticky tires will help alot with that, also looking into a torque arm and panhard bar combo would be a good idea as it cleans up alot of the sloppy mess that ford made with there 4 link design.
the torque arm and panhard bar might not help directly with wheel spin but will help out with the way the rear end of the car behaves, making it feel alot more stable and controllable when the wheels are spinning, and will also improve just about all aspects of driving the car such as launching and cornering.

I think it may still get squirly with the torqe arm + panhard bar but it would probably be much easier to control. I've seen lots of Camaros and Trans-Ams getting very squirly on the track and I'm FAIRLY certain those cars have the torque arm and panhard bar from the factory.
