I think it looks great and he is going to have a sweet ride. I admire the amount of work that you both have put in. Text me when you are ready to cut and buff, I'll walk you through it. Runs just take a patient hand and a couple specialty blocks made by Mcguires. I'll help you buddy, it won't be that big of an issue.
Shoot man, I've been painting cars for almost fourty years and I still get runs. Slight changes in humidity, temperature, freaking barometric pressure change things when you paint, not to mention new materials!Thanks man. I cut and buffed one yeeeeeears ago with 1200 and perfect it II. But- I'm gonna have to go buy a buffer. I can't believe i sagged the side like that, but it's just more time, that's all. I can say the roof and hood look like glass! I think if I'd gone a little lighter on the passes it would've been okey dokie... But meh. Happy overall. Again, the pics do this thong zero justice.

I don't know how you were feeling before going into the shoot, but I'd bet it's a lot better now.
I know that when the time comes for me I'll be all worried about it. If I can get similar results (minus the sag of course) I'll be jumping up and down.

Yeah,It does look really nice from the pics. I'd be giddy. Since we're technically in the same path of most fronts, (with you getting it first) I was thinking about whether or not you had ran into the humidity change and rain before getting done and whether or not that was dealing you any problems. Because by the time I took the pics of my lights yesterday the air was wet.Thanks Mike! Yeah, I'm not gonna lie... I needed a liquid sedative.. Haha. Very nervous. It turned out fantastic really, save for a few spots that need cutting and buffing. I found a few more small runs and I was discussing with Dave something on the front of the hood that looked like a trail of blisters or bug tracks. I think I can cut and buff it to, as they seem no be solid. I wished I'd taken the time to build a water knockout header like the one you and I discussed way back when, but they weather has been so perfect... Then halfway thru the job it changed. Sumofa!!! But, it worked out in the end.
