I know what you mean about pictures not doing justice.
I've shot that color a few times, it's a beautiful color.
Jambs look good! Your little gun you bought did well, huh? Of course the operator of the gun probably did a pretty good job too:nice:.
Your car is just going to be hot as hell with that color on it, it'll pop when you have it in the sun. Good choice.
I used Sata Jets for a long time, very good guns. Ive been using Iwatas for the past few years, No bad reflection on Sata though, my old guns were wearing out when our jobber let me demo the Iwatas. They shot about the same and he cut me a good deal on the three I use now.
Can't wait to see the finished product. Your booth setup work pretty good for you then?

Thanks man! Yeah, so far the booth is doing great.
I've only seen one little bug get in, and i think he made it when we were traveling in and out. Fortunately, we squashed him before he got away.. Lol.

Looks sooo much slicker in person.
Congrats sir. The first step behind you. Are you venting the drape o booth?

Looking good, now that you have used your paint guns-you like 'em?

Yeah. My big gun is conventional, and i think i may get an hvlp. It seems the small hvlp gun is smoother and wastes less from overspraying. I've just zipped thru three quarts of paint like nothing. But- I haven't done this in ten years, so I don't remember what to expect on a lot of stuff.

I just had to make a mad dash to the next town over to pick up another water separator and some desiccant cartridges because the humidity has set in after two weeks of perfect weather and i was spraying water. Got that at bay and put down the next coat waaay later than I wanted to, but oh well.

Is that a trick of the lense or is there a dent in that wheel arch?

I will say like i told Collin. I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get the body better, but we've been working on it forever. This car probably shouldn't have been saved.. Every panel on it was fubar, qnd it has a bunch of little hiccy dos in it that make it a nice ten foot car. As Collin put it, bad ass first car. It'll be ok.
