SOTP = Seat Of The Pants Dyno.. :D

LOL!! This one is a tough one though.. In a few days, I may or may not get knocked out on this type of Dyno.. LOL!! But, if by chance, I can wipe the floor with MisterCMK, then this means my SOTP dyno is properly calibrated!! LOL!! :D

Interesting!! Thanks for the post... But what the hell is this? I have not heard of this!!

Anyone have any experience with a ProChamber?

http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2002/10/mac/index.shtml

I want to know about the Prochamber! I made a post about it on TMS and didnt get much results. They produce the prochamber for the 05 GTs but they havent made one for the v6 yet. Alot of guys says it proudces amazing sound, but Im worried about the backpressure issue with it. I wanted to know the odds of using this, long tube heads, and keeping my resonators. This is a mid-pipe, so it probably wouldnt work right with an X or H pipe, but I wanna know how it would work instead of either of the former! If you have any ideas, let me know!

Way to go Echo7!! I have been busy this week guys.. I am so sorry about the Dyno.. But I told you Echo7, there is a big difference in power.. I'm not sure how your car is running, but its definatley got to be alot different than before meaning more power..

I may try and get it(dyno) done on Saturday, if the shops are open.. But good Job Echo7!! :nice:

@ALL

I just noticed, Echo7 indeed has an AutoMatic.. So take his experience, and put a 5SPD manual tranny behind it for me...

echo7

If you had a 5spd tranny, what do you think you would feel, being able to shift at your own desired shift points?

Or do you have a 5spd already?

I think a 5spd would be only better at launch's, and unless your really good at shifting, i think these auto's will get you, almost too smooth (still playing with the video of 0-115mph). If i were to get the lag out of launch's via retune, i think i would be equal to any normal manual driver. But that's just my thoughts :D Also, my auto goes to just about 6grand every shift, and pulls much harder now in 3rd than it did before. My video is only 22 seconds long, putting my 0-115mph right around 20-21 seconds, and my 0-60 at about 6.5...

@Echo7

Also, I have a Light-Heavyweight fight coming up soon with MisterCMK! Look back through thread, a few pages back at the HP ratings I gave in regards who wins the fight and at what HP rating.. My question is, with a 5SPD tranny in my car, how good of a chance do I have of winning the fight based on your new experience?

Also, we have our X-PIPES in the exact same spot... Thanks for trusting in my judgement man, it means alot.. So once my car is dyno'd, you can pretty much use it as well.. But I did punch the holes in the Air-Intake, which did make more of an impact afterwards, so you will have to take that into account.. Plus the fact that I have a 5spd... The difference will be the RWHP and RWTQ increase, based on the fact that the Auto tranny uses up slightly more power to transfer to the rearend.. But our engines should be pretty close + or - {3} to {5} HP because of my Air-Intake, I think.. Dont quote me, just guessing...

I really think they bet is reasonable, i feel atleast a 10hp gain, but i'm thinking closer to 20. As for the x pipe position, i told him to try to squeeze it as far forward as he could, but he said he could only go so far, and it seems to be right at or closer than the original Y.

200 for the work, and if you ad the 100 for the GT muflers, and 45 for the X-Pipe, (this includes all shipping costs aswell), i have a grand total of $345 for a very good exhuast system, and man does it sound a whole lot better than a single GT muffler. (and the single GT muffler sounds good too :D )
yep i am enjoying the single GT muffler.
my wife is going to shoot me when i hit her up with this idea... :owned:

It is possible to get it done cheaper. I only paid $230 to get mine put on

I only paid 200 to get mine put on, i'm just adding in the cost of mufflers and X-Pipe to give a grand total of the exhaust work of $345

pipes and Mufflers+shipping=$150
Install=$80

Oh, did you buy like a takeoff cat back exhuast from a GT. I know i had alot more work to be done from the X-Pipe, but it was well worth it. :D
