Well if your buying a vehicle that is in stock. Most dealers that I know have had to hire guards. Keeps vandals from coming in and stealing also keeps the Insurance prem down. Depending on what state Like in Houston TX. We have a state sales tax of 6.25% and Vehicle Inventory tax that goes to the city of Houston witch is .002469 % of the selling price. I know a few dealers that still charge document fees. I only do this on Drop ship to Cover expense on Overnighting paperwork back and forth to be signed. that is 50.00 dollars. You figure a round trip is about 50.00 dollars. I normaly do not charge guard fee for an ordered unit. Definately would waive it on a drop ship.
I hope this gives you a better idea. Let me know if you have anymore questions. I will be more than happy to help

Under X plan the dealer is NOT allowed to charge you ANY of those fees, nor are they allowed to charge you a guard fee or inventory tax like fred-fred brought up.

X plan is a flat price. The only aditional charges are sales tax, title fee and registration fee. If the dealer is attempting to add anything on top of X, tell them that they will get busted by Ford if Ford happens to audit your X sale.
