Automatic with B-303 cam?

I am looking at a FRPP crate engine for my future plans (yes, I know they arn't the best of anything) and was wondering if it would be alright to run a B-303 cam with an AOD tranny? Thank you for your help.

As long as the converter/gears are matched to the cam, it will haul arse.

Said another way, unless you have a different, higher rpm stall converter, you'll likely be very disappointed with the street performance of that combo. Below 3000 rpm with a stock AOD/converter it will be very, what's the word, lethargic.

I'm sure there's a reason why it say 5speed recommended. IMO

I am planning on going with 4:10 gears, but what speed of stall convertor do you recommend?
