I know a lot of people on here don't really like chips, but I found a deal too good to pass up. I was at the Salvation Army Thrift Store and I saw a JET Stage 1 Chip for $10 . At first I thought it was for chevys because it had a pic of a camaro and a corvette on the front but i looked inside at the instructions, and it was actually a Ford Module, that fit Mustangs. So of course I bought it, and it actually works too! Removing the EEC was a pain in the @ss though!!!

Normally, you would get the chip flashed for whatever mods your car has. How do you know that chip isn't from some sc'd stang with lowered timing, and different fuel tables?
Anyhow, $10 that's a crazy deal! I didn't know thrift stores carried auto parts.

I had never seen anything like that in a thrift store either, so i did a double take. But I installed it and everything ran smooth and i felt a seat of the pants difference beyond 2000 RPMs.
