The good news is your car is already geared 3.73.

By the way....Very interesting experience with the car tonight.

Minding my own bussiness and these out-of-towners walk up and ask about the car. They wanted to run me in a propane injected powerstroke. I gave him a 3 car running start and I took off dead stop. Ok so in the 1/4 I beat him about ??? maybe 9-10 cars without really running the guts out of the car.

We got back and they started talkin **** about how far they pulled me off the line(headstart that I gave them) and they had a buddy that was going to come down and run me for $500. Since I'm not all about running something I've never even seen I declined. They said a few choice words. So, I went back to my shop changed the jets to a 100shot, switched tires, grabbed money and went back in the cougar. I found a friend who knew the car and said it went 8.9s. I pulled back up where they were and they started talkin **** again. I simply said tell him to come on. After we all waited about 30 minutes they just left town. It was about 20 people there laughing at these jackasses.
Never a quiet night.

You guys are sick... I have a 360 hp v8 90 gt, and I owned a 90 lx 2.3l also last year, the thing was beat, and I have no idea how your cars handle 100 shot of nitrous or a 20 lb turbo... what mods did you do to allow this, or is it constant rebuilding?

Well the N/A block is the weak link really when you come to turbocharging, to do it properly you need a Merkur, TC, SVO, or a 2.3T engine of some fashion to begin with.

Actually its a 100shot PLUS 20 "PSI". Yeah thats about right the turbo is about 20 pounds but I've stripped enough weight off the car so thats ok .

This engine is 100% stock out of the junk yard. I've put a gasket set on it. Mileage of the bottom end is unknown. Even if I'm making 300hp I'm still very easily within the tolerance of the stock bottom end.
