Backspacing question and Widest wheel on tire question...buying tomorrow

Im buying wheels that come with either a 3.25" backspace or a 4.5" backspace. there is a backorder on the 4.5". will either work? also. i have 15x7 10spokes right now, and i do not have the stock tires, i cant remember the #, whats the widest wheel i can run on them? they have about 8.5" of tread on the road. 8"?

no they are not my first choice. cobra rs are. but i have my reasons why i cant buy cobra rs.

i just need a yes they will work, or a no they wont work and what do i need.

16x7 Pony wheels have 5.15" backspace I think (check the FRPP catalog to be sure). A 15x7 wheel would need similar backspacing.

a 4.5" backspacing is too shallow for anything other than maybe a 7" wide wheel. Most 8" wide Mustang wheels use a 5.72" backspacing on an 8" wheel. The wheel in that picture looks like it's got way too much negative offset to fit a fox body properly.

My 15x7 10 holes have a 5" backspace. I don't think those wheels will work too good. How wide are they?
