Bad dyno run???

Ok, I just got back frm the dyno earlier today and my hp is 255 annd torque was like 289? I have alot done to the car and I thought I should be putting out more!! I have an 347 Eagle short block, forged crank and pistions,Tfs heads 185cc, Holley systemax intake, trick flow stg 1 cam, 4.10 gears, T5 tranny, 32lb injectors, Saleen rear axle, MSD ignition and distributor, Griffin aluminuim radiator, Optima battery, A/C eliminator, 70mm throttle body, king cobra cluth, BBK longtube headers and x pipe, flow master exhaust 40series mufflers. We ran it about 5 times and they found out that my adj fuel pressure regulator was broken and open all the way to 80 lbs of fuel, would that affect it that much? Should I be putting out bigger numbers? I feel embarresed with those numbers after how much work Ive done to it!!!

I don't know what's wrong, but I would think you are off by about 100HP.

Definitely. An engine running pig rich will surely be down on power.

Yeah running that rich you are losing alot of power...Your flooding the motor im suprised they ran it that many times..I would think you might get some fuel in the oil....running that rich...

I have an aeromotive Adjustabe FPR..i hear there good...I think there a few companies that make them now..Just look around im sure you can find them..

A 70mm TB is also on the small side for that motor. But yea, I imagine the numbers are a result of a bad tune.

I didnt know the fuel pressure regulator was broken, they found out it was running 80lbs because of the dyno.
