while the day ended up badly,i made it home but the stang did not.
my car drove great all day long then after my first pass things went down hill.
at the top of the track in 3rd the motor was falling on its face and when i went to run my 3rd time i tried to start my motor and the bendix gear kicked out but the motor would not crank after severl attempts to roll start i cam to the conclusion my motor was seized and after trying to crank it over with a socket wrench it became evident my motor was seized .and now its sitting at the track waiting to get towed.any one got any suggestions on crate short blocks or a good machine shop on the east side so far ive heard lots of people say c&d machine and east side machine

:bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:
borrowed time finnaly caught up with me

it is time for more power problem is im screwed right now cause my car is still stuck at the track and i have to have it out of there by monday. :bang: otherwise it will probly get impounded then on friday im gonna have ot pay up the who ha to get it out and get it home :(

problem solved car is now at home.got it today.when i got it home i got the motor to free up and then i was going to try to crank it over and it cranked for about a 5 seconds and made a loud banging like elf was in side my motor hitting the cyl walls with a 10lbs sledge hammer.and then it just stoped dead in its tracks like i have a bent/broken rod or a broken crank.pulled both valve covers off and passinger side looked fine, but on the drivers side it looked like my roller rockers got real hot and the anodize was burning off the i realized it was water mixed with oil.and there was water in the pan and my coolant is deffinatly low.a freind seems to think i hydro locked a cyl from blowing a head gasket which it was running like it had a blown head gasket.and it might have broken a rod, wheather or not thats what happined i wont know untill wensday when i pull the motor.but now that i think about it it was running like i had a blown head gasket.i will take pictures of the internals and post them if i find some thing broken or bent.i hope to pull off the pan and find a broken rod. at least i will know i blew it up the right way :D

gto the heads off today and i blew another head gasket.and hydro locked my motor,so this friday im oredring a 331 stroker crank from chp.new short block will be done in 2 months with cnc beam rods ,probe 11.5-1 forged pistons, dss main girddle and windage tray.and this time im not buying cheap head gaskets ive blown out 2 sets of head gaskets in less than a year, but my block probly needs to be plained.and im lookin in to buying a set of victor jr heads or afr 185s
