Got a new set of ET streets 26x10.5 going on 15x8 draglites. Im wondering if I should have them balanced or not. car is about 80% track.

Mine were balanced as well. Consider you're going to be doing around 100+ mph on them, granted only for a short period of time. Why not balance them?

i didn't get mine balance at first because i didn't think i would need too. after driving down my block, right away i knew they needed to be balanced.

i was running tubes in my et streets. thats why at first i didn't think i would need them. they still needed to be balance with the tubes. make sure when they do balance them they use the weights that stick on the inside of the rims, and put some duct tape over them just to be safe.
Id have to throttle someone if they stuck normal weights on my draglites LOL. Ill make sure to do that though. thanks for the help!

I would balance them. I balance my 30x10.5 Goodyear slicks. My dad balance his 33x16 Goodyear slicks. If you don't they will shake your car and tear it apart. LOLL. It get violent.

get them balanced! i just got some and put them on unbalanced. big mistake! i was at the track and about 90mph the car shook so bad the whole dash was bouncing up and down. no more runs after that.

Get them balanced, yes. BUT, don't expect them to ride as nice as regular radial tires. I've balanced customers ET Street's before (brand new) and they run like total crap on the balancer...but that's because they're bias-ply.

Your not supposed to balance slick on a tires rotating balacner. Your supposed to use a bubble balacner. This is what it looks like.

Bubble balancers would be even less accurate than if you used a spin balancer. A bubble balancer will only get a rough estimate of a static balance. If you use a spin balancer you can get a dynamic balance...but with bias plies you'll never get it perfect either way.

Well it works pretty good for me and my dad and his buddies. I go 115mph and rides smooth. My dad goes 150mph and rides smooth. And his buddies from 170 to 185mph and no vibration.

ESPECIALLY if you're using tubes. I second the duct tape over the stick on weight tip....that's a little known/not very often used trick to keep those little suckers on.
