I'm going to buy a cat-back this week to follow my Pypes o/r X on the LX.

I've fought myself for the last week on whether to get the Flow AT or the MagnaFlow kit.
Now I think I'm sold on the Bassani sound after listening to some "Bassani" sound clips and comparing the three.
Do all Bassani kits sound deep, like I heard?

Does anyone know which muffler this alumininized steel kit comes with?
I've heard the terms "Quiet Thunder" spoken and also "Street Competition".
Which one comes with the kit and what is the difference, if any?
Also, do all Bassani mufflers have a "removable baffle" and are they fiberglass filled?

In addition I read somewhere that the BX kit for LX's comes with SS polished 3" tails
I looked on their website, but navigating it is somewhat unrewarding.

Any and all help is appreciated.
Video clips or pics or anything would be Great!

Thanks in advance

Sorry man .. I actually have a lot of the same questions that you do. I'm very interested in the bassani (especially the stainless piping) but unsure if the sound is better than the spintechs. I know the quality will be top notch as usual. Have you tried calling bassani?

No. I'm afraid some biker guy with a thick goat is going to yell at me

www.superchargers4less.com carries them, so I will give them a call today and see what I can find out.
If they are less than informative, or if the need arises, I will just call Bassani.

I'm going to buy something this week for sure.
It's either going to be the Bassani BX or the MagnaFlow.

I called Bassani prior to buying my mid-pipe and they were more than helpful. They're a pretty small operation and very knowledgable.

Yes

I've heard the terms "Quiet Thunder" spoken and also "Street Competition".

The kit comes with the "Street Competition" muffler which is a deeper improved design over the "Quiet Thunder" which they no longer make. The only other muffler they make for our cars are "Race Competition" which are loud.

Also, do all Bassani mufflers have a "removable baffle" and are they fiberglass filled?
They are straight through, perforated and glass filled. The internals are SS with a 16 gauge aluminized casing. No baffles

In addition I read somewhere that the BX kit for LX's comes with SS polished 3" tails
Yes, the tails are 3" Polished SS ... with baffles. The forward flow tubes are completely adjustable.

Well that all sounds good to me except for the 3" tailpipes. I would have a bassani cat back system if it wasnt for the 3" tailpipes. Personally, i think 3" tails look like garbage on LX's.

I do think the bassani mufflers sound great though.

I would try Bassanni man. It what im getting down the road for my next setup. Bassanni stepped long tubes, 3in X, and some series of mufflers dumped from the Bassanni line. And the quality is 2nd to none. GET BASSANNI!
