bassani midpipe fits to which headers?

Hi I'm thinking of getting a 2 piece o/r Bassani x pipe but I'm going to mate it first to my stock manifold. After I saved more money, I plan on getting LTs thus the piece x pipe.

Now, what headers does the xpipe fit with besides bassani? Bbk, flowtech, hookers?

I don't think it will fit "flush" sort of to speak with Flowtech or Hooker, due to the fact that both of these headers use a clamp instead of a bolt-flange design for the passengers side header. This is to allow for transmission clearance without having to remove the passengers side header. I'm not sure, but I think Kooks also makes headers of this styling.

My advice is this. If you're going to get a nice quality Bassani mid-pipe, then use Bassani headers with them. Bassani is one of the best, if not THE best exhuast parts producer for the Modular Mustangs. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone with full Bassani exhuast instead of Mac.

I installed the bassani X on my 03 and i love it. mated up perfect with the stock manifold. Id assume it would match up with any other "shorty" header that would match up with the stock mid-pipe. If your going to spend the money on the bassani X you may as well go with the matching bassani headers.

yeah you should go with their mid length headers i got a full bassani exhaust except for the headers love it and just saving money for some equal length shorty headers from BBK

My Bassani X mounts up perfectly with my BBK equal length headers.

Go with the Bassani Mid Length's! Just got them on my 01 and they sound sweet!!! They cost a little more but are well worth it!
