bassani update!!

i called bassani and they do still make the street comp. mufflers and they also said that those are practically the only mufflers they have shipped out for awhile. they said the quiet thunders are only avail. by special order. the street comps. also come in ss and bx(aluminized).

i think i am going with the aluminized street comps instead of the quiet thunders, b/c they said the quiet thunder are hardly louder then stock. i don't know why most people have quiet thunders then?????? quiet thunder will porb. be equiv. in loudness to my 3 chambers and since i am going from shorties and o/r h to longtubes and o/r x, i deff. want something louder than 3 chambers.

whoops... I just called Bassani, and found out that the mufflers I bought were indeed the Street Comps.... I purchased BX series mufflers P/N 4840...

b/c what you were saying was confusing the hell out of me. i was like "how the hell could he think that their quietest mufflers are too loud!". At least we figured it out.

i looked for these mufflers on the fairway ford website and there is nothing. did you call them and order over the phone??

also, did you ever get a video or sound clip made?? if you did, is there any way i could get you to e-mail it to me??? i know you don't want to post it and i don't blame ya, but i really really don't want to change my exhaust again and still not have exactly what i want.

otherwise, i have some decent bassani videos of a 4.6 that i could post and you could tell me if that is how yours sounds or not.
