There is a new law in NC. Cars '95 and newer must be hooked up to a computer that sends the data to Raleigh. The inspection is a combination of the visual observation at the shop and the data retrived in Raleigh. It also costs $35.00 now.

Yes I am from Fayetteville. I'm wondering if the high flow cat x-pipe will pass emissions. I think they also have a C.A.R.B. x-pipe that uses the original cats. But from what I've read the stock cats are the major restriction.

probably wont pass, after 2 months my check engine light came on and I had it reset, that lasted about 2 hours of driving before it came back on. Had the dealer run a diagnostic test and it said it was the cats making it come on. Ordered a C&L with the predator, maybe I can turn them off with that.
