I relocated my battery to the trunk, but it seems like my car almost struggles to start now. Its turns over a couple extra times. The charging system is fine and i used all new connectors. Is there any serious voltage drop over the distance of the wire to make it struggle?

What size wire/cable did you use? Where are you grounded? It's likely either a bad ground, or not a big enough hot wire/cable running to the front. There's WAY too much distance to use the stock size cable running all the way from the rear. Most folks who don't have a problem use a 1/0 welding cable. I use a doubled up 2-gauge (that's 2 2-gauge cables on the hot side).

I used 1/0 lead and a 4 gauge ground cable. I have solid motor mounts and no computer so no issues there.

You cant over wire, but you can under wire. Using 2 2 gauge wires is cheaper than a 1/0. It is easier to bend as well. I have access to 1/0 and at first had 4/0 on my car. Both because I got them for free. The 4/0 was too much weight, so when the 1/0 came available, I used it.

It would not hurt to run an ADDITIONAL wire direcltly to the compuer ground point and then tie it directly to the engine block.
