quick question? first of all the only things i have done to my car is free flowing offroad exhaust a 87mm Pro-m MAF and recently a 75mm polished throttle body from BBK. my question is that my car idles fine but when you give it gas or you are driving and let off instantly it takes the car a while for the rpms to drop. about twice as slow as stock. people have told my to back the screw which allows a bigger opening at idle but the screw is not keeping it open; i took it off just to prove to my group of guys. what are some suggestions?? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the IAC, but considering you have that POS (piece of sh it) pro-m maf on there, I'm just going to blame that instead.

Do not touch the screw that adjusts the TB blade.

Give it about a week, and itll be back to normal. or buy the iac plate http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-0...33553QQitemZ8052520887QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

Anyone else have that restrictor plate? i hate the way it takes a couple seconds for the rpm's to drop back down. Doesn't sound like a bad invesment. I already have to replace and clean the IAC all the time. would a restrictor plate make that worse?
