So i think im gonna go with the BBK ceramic lt's 1-3/4 primary with a BBK o/r x. Anybody wanna offer an opinion? I know some will disagree with the choice, but i think the headers are just as good as any of Bassani or JBAs except for the fact there not stainless. The midpipe i kind went with only to keep the two same brand, and since the swap to a new pipe should be easy i can always look for something else later.

The only experience I have with BBK exhaust products was a set of equal length shorties that were on my car when I bought it. There was a tiny pinhole in one of the welds that made a tick every time that cylinder fired. Drove me crazy because it sounded like a valve tapping. I didn't figure out what it was until I swapped them out for a set of long tubes. When I did find the hole it was by accident. I'm not against BBK though, I still have alot of their products on my car.

I had bbk shorties on my car before and they worked fine even after being on and off the car 100 times.

There's a guy on HorsePowerJunkies.com selling a set of L/T's and a H pipe in NC. I say go for it. I had some LT's and X pipe on a 351 I had and didnt have any problems.

I've had my LT's on for a good 5 years and I'm very happy with them. As for the "x" pipe, I'm not crazy about it. At a certain rpm it gets that "tin can" sound that I just despise and there are no leaks that I can find. Maybe it's the grade of aluminum they use but overall I think it could sound better. Also, it must be on the short side because the edge of my tailpipes are flush with the bumper when they used to stick out about 1/2". I too went with the BBK X in order to stick with matching brands but I wonder if the Bassani will bolt up. The Bassani is more of a true X anyway.

i went with 1 3/4 primaries, but my car wouldve benefited more if i had gone smaller. I was looking long term over quick power. You guys see much of a loss happening?
